Fudge Two Ways
The one where I defend fudge as a health food.
If I’m looking for something to nourish my body and soul, it needs to include at least three of the following:
Makes my senses light up (Yes, usually by taste, but a good song or a beautiful view count.)
Let’s me feel like I accomplished something (quick craft project, good strength training session, hosting a yoga + food workshop)
Makes me feel good (a nap under a cozy blanket, a nutrient dense salad and flavored water lunch, an interesting book with a happy ending)
Something that makes me relax back into my chair for at least a breath (a fountain Diet Coke, a fudgy brownie, conversation with friends, savasana pose)
Improves me in some way (a tall glass of water, a run outside, a sheet pan dinner of chicken sausage, sweet potato, and green beans, completing a professional project)
Shows my love for others (creating something I know they will love, mentoring, movie night, their pick, with all of us piled on the couch)
All that to say, these two fudge recipes ⤵️ really do nourish my soul. They are both easy to prepare, are completely, overwhelmingly delicious, and with two options, there is bound to be an option your loved ones will well, love!
Make one (or both!) recipes. Keep a couple of pieces for yourself, but then deliver the rest… somewhere. Where would you go to most nourish your soul? Grandma’s house? Your friends’ place for wine night? Your dinner table on Tuesday? Bible study?
Share with others and let me know — how many different ways did this fudge nourish your soul?
Spicy Mexican-Inspired Fudge
Cayenne pepper, cinnamon and vanilla extract (bonus if it’s Mexican vanilla!) ensure that one delicious bike of this rich fudge satisfies your cravings without completely wrecking your resolve.
S'mores Fudge
This family favorite s’mores fudge filled with graham crackers and marshmallows will disappear faster than it took to make it. That’s saying something as it comes together really fast!!
Let’s take a deep breath, shall we? Or rather, shall we try? I’ve realized I really struggle with the most basic of basics - breathing.
We’ll dive into ways to improve our breathing, including looking into the science and witchcraft of using food to support our respiratory system.

Have you ever dried avocado fudge - melted dark chocolate chips, creamed avocado and a little vanilla. Yum! And meets the fudge as healthy food target!
